What is PDR?
Paintless dent removal (or repair) is the process of removing a dent out of a vehicle without disturbing the finish.
How does it work?
Applying pressure with specialized tools, the technician carefully massages the dent from the backside of the vehicle’s panel. Sometimes, where a dent cannot be accessed from the back, a tab is glued to the outside of the dent and pulled from the top with a slide hammer. Doing these techniques correctly will eliminate the need for refinishing or painting the panel.
Is PDR right for my dent?
If your vehicle does not have any paint damage, or the dent isn’t too deep causing the metal to be stretched, or the dent isn’t too large, most likely it can be fixed using PDR.
